Breadchaser Jobs is run by Breadchaser. This page says what we keep about you, who sees it, and how to remove it. It describes what the site actually does.
What we keep
- What you type into the form and your profile: your name, email, LinkedIn link, the kinds of jobs you want, where you stand today (employed and not looking, employed and looking, or not employed and looking), the role you held last year, your two numbers, and anything optional you add (phone, location, a headline, a short bio, years in sales, other sales numbers, a link to an intro video, whether you are open to performance-based roles and, if you are, your minimum base).
- Your two numbers. If you set meetings: your qualified-meetings quota per month, and how many qualified meetings you actually booked per month over the last 12 months. If you close: your quota and what you closed over the last 12 months, in dollars.
- A profile photo and an intro video, if you upload them. They are stored privately and are never on a public page.
- Your resume, if you upload one. It is stored privately. It is never on a public page.
- What you chose in the two boxes, the version of the wording you agreed to, and when.
- Where you came from: the tag on the link that brought you (for example a LinkedIn post) and the page that referred you, if your browser sent one.
- What we work out from it: your attainment (result divided by quota) and an alias, such as Cobalt Heron #417.
- A log of what happened and when: that you joined, that you applied to a job, that the status of an application changed, that your numbers were marked verified or not, and that an email to you was sent or failed.
We do not ask for a password and we do not keep one.
Signing in
You sign in with a link we email you. A link works once and lasts 20 minutes. Opening it shows a Continue button; pressing the button signs you in on that device for up to 30 days, using one cookie. We keep a scrambled copy of each link and each sign-in, never the link itself. To slow down abuse we also keep a scrambled fingerprint of the network a sign-in request came from. We do not store your IP address in our database.
This site sets no advertising or analytics trackers. Your browser remembers three small things for the site: whether you chose the light or the dark theme; the tag on the link that brought you, until you close the tab; and, if you delete your profile, a note that you just did, removed as soon as the next page shows it.
Nothing happens until you confirm your email
Anyone can type an email address into a form. So nothing you tick takes effect, and nothing about you is public or shared, until you open the link we send to that address. If the link is never opened, the profile is deleted after 14 days.
Your public profile is under an alias
Once you have confirmed your email and your profile has your two numbers, it is listed publicly under your alias, at its own address, and on the leaderboard. You do not have to turn this on, and your name is never part of it.
The public profile and the leaderboard show: your alias, the kinds of jobs you want, where you stand today, last year's role, years in sales, your two numbers and your attainment, the other sales numbers you added, and whether the numbers are self-reported or verified. They never show your name, headline, bio, photo, video, location, LinkedIn, email, phone, resume or the date you joined.
What each box does
Both start unticked. You can change either of them later from your profile.
- I'm open to software sales jobs and breaking into tech sales (entry-level SDR/BDR roles). If you tick it, we share your profile with our partner Let's Get You Offers, who may reach out. They get your name, email, LinkedIn link, location, where you stand today, the kinds of jobs you want, last year's role, your numbers and attainment, your intro video link, how you found us and when you joined, in an email and on a private page where they can also see your photo and video. They can mark where you stand with them and keep a note. If you untick the box later we take you off their page. What they already received stays with them.
- The email list. We email you new jobs and news from Breadchaser's CEO, Nick Montes. Untick the box or reply to any email and we stop.
Who sees what
- Breadchaser sees everything on your profile, including your name, photo, video and resume, and gets an email when you join.
- Let's Get You Offers sees what is listed above, and only if you ticked the software sales box.
- A company you apply to sees your profile when we put you forward for that job.
- Everyone else sees only your alias profile, described above.
Three companies handle data for us so the site can run: Supabase stores the database and the files you upload, Vercel hosts the site, and Resend delivers our emails.
Your numbers
You type your quota and your result. We compute the percentage; you never type it. Every number carries a label: self-reported, verified by document, or verified by manager. To get verified, reply to any email from us with the proof (a comp statement, a CRM screenshot or a note from your manager) and we mark it. If you change a number that was verified, it goes back to self-reported.
Deleting your profile
Your profile page has a Delete my profile button. It removes your profile, your applications, your resume, your photo, your video, your place on our partner's page, and every sign-in on every device. It happens right away.
What stays: a log line that an event happened on a date, with nothing in it that points to you; emails already in your inbox and with our email provider; and anything Let's Get You Offers received while that box was ticked.
